The Final "X-Men Origins: Wolverine" Trailer

Looks like Hugh Jackman will be kicking off blockbuster season on May 1 as he reprises his role as Wolverine. Hopefully, this film will be better than X-Men 3.

"New Moon" Finds Its Werewolves

The Twilight Saga: New Moon scheduled to release November 20, finally has a wolf pack. Chaske Spencer, Bronson Pelletier, Alex Meraz, Kiowa Gordon and Tyson Houseman will make up the pack along with Taylor Lautner (Jacob Black). Right now there is no confirmation who will play which character from Stephenie Meyer's best selling book New Moon. So do you think that Summit made a good decision casting unknowns? Disney Pixar's "Up" Trailer

I believe this will be a good film. I haven't seen a Disney/Pixar film that was a disappointment.

Star Trek Trailer

I have to admit, I am not a Star Trek fan. But after watching this trailer I firmly believe I will be jumping on the band wagon. Plus it helps when there is a cute guy in the cast.

The Vamps that Rock

Yes, Twilight is approximately 7 hours away from being released on DVD. There is a good percentage of people who will be engaging in midnight trips to Wal-mart or waiting for Best Buy to open in the morning. While, Twilight happens to be one of the most popular vampire movies of all time it lacks what some viewers love to see-Fangs. The Vamps in Twilight don't have fangs, their teeth are already strong enough to bite through steel. While I am a huge Twilight fan, I still want to see the stereotypical vampire-one with a good set of fangs. Here is a list of my top five favorite vampire flicks, which include nice fangs.

5) Buffy the Vampire Slayer (1992)- A cheerleader is considered the "Chosen One" and has the destiny of becoming a vampire slayer. I enjoyed this movie because it does not dive deep into the gruesome world of vampires. Instead it shows the strength of a young woman and her ability to fight evil on her own. I highly recommend the TV series instead because it takes the sarcasm of the movie and pulls it into a dark world of vampires and other mythology. Plus David Boreanaz has a nice set of fangs.

4) Interview With A Vampire (1994)- Based on Anne Rice's classic novel, Louis de Pointe du Lac (Brad Pitt) tells about his life of vampirism and betrayal that fellow vamp Lestat de Lioncourt (Tom Cruise) brought upon him. The movie is good and it shows the life of vampires in the late 18th century. But what is really important is that Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt are in this movie, which means doubling up on the nice fangs.

3) The Lost Boys (1987) - Classic 80's teen rebellion movie, but with a twist. A California town, Santa Carla, is swamped with vamps who look like rock stars. Chains, leather and earrings give the vampires their own individual look outside of their coven. Kiefer Sutherland looked pretty good back in the day with those fangs.

2) Blade (1998)- What I love about Blade is he is one of the first half vampires to be able to walk in the daylight, therefore giving him the nickname "Daywalker." He is also an African-American portrayed as a vampire that is not comical like Blacula. What I also love about this movie is we begin to see that a vampire can be good and not resort to the temptation of human blood. Gotta love a good vampire with nice fangs too!

1) Bram Stoker's Dracula (1992)-This is the best adaption of Stoker's Dracula that I have seen so far. Dracula is the king of the vampire world and he is not at all the way we romanticize him. The Hollywood version of Dracula portrayed in Tod Browning's 1931 version starring Bela Lugosi, is how we think of him. The dark handsome man that has slicked black hair and walks around saying "I want to suck your blood." No, not Dracula at all. Of course, Hollywood could not show blood, sex and the complete gruesome nature that made up Dracula in the 1930's because of the Production Code. So, Hollywood made Dracula something completely different, manufactured. Yet every Halloween, we still embrace the classic image of Hollywood's Dracula by putting on our fake fangs.
